Does that mean I cannot claim the spousal social security? No, you can’t. And so, like in in the presentation, if you have a a spouse that works, you are entitled to a portion of that. And so, uh no, I get that question all the time. And you are, uh definitely entitled to that. No work is required. So, it doesn’t mean that you can’t claim. You just uh you have to uh apply for your spouse’s record and you have uh you have to wait if you wait until your full retirement age, your spousal benefit is up to 50%. So, remember that. And you can start claiming as early as age 62, but you’re going to be getting that reduced uh monthly amount. So, as a homemaker, in my eyes, that is a full-time job. you just don’t get paid for it, but you know, you are entitled to your spousal uh social security. Great question.
